The MedReport Foundation
The MedReport Foundation
The MedReport Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to improving public health by addressing one of the most overlooked factors in healthcare outcomes: health literacy. Research shows that poor health literacy is a stronger predictor of a person’s health than age, income, education, or race. It contributes to increased hospitalizations, higher mortality, and up to $238 billion in avoidable annual healthcare costs.

Overview
MedReport’s mission is to promote health literacy by publishing clear, accessible, evidence-based content that helps patients understand their conditions, medications, and care plans, especially in communities most impacted by low health literacy.
I’ve been writing monthly health articles for the MedReport Foundation, where I focus on bridging clinical accuracy with real-world readability. My pieces are designed to help everyday readers, especially adult children caring for aging parents, navigate complex health topics with clarity and confidence.
Each article is grounded in evidence-based research, often pulling from the latest studies, and written through the lens of my 16-plus years as a gerontology nurse. The work has given me a platform to refine my voice, build a portfolio, and prove that nurses can absolutely lead in the health writing space. It’s also helping me transition from bedside to byline in a way that feels intentional and self-driven.

More about my writing services
I write sharp, well-researched content that actually helps people. Think: blogs that break down clinical topics for everyday readers, blog posts that make caregivers feel seen, and pieces that make your org sound like it knows what it’s talking about. Real science, real voice, real impact.
Need a handout? I’ve got you. A clean, easy-to-digest webpage? That too. I create patient education tools that make sense to the people reading them. Whether it’s printed flyers for the waiting room or digital copy for your app or site, I keep the tone calm, clear, and clinically sound so patients walk away informed, not confused.
Most health content forgets the people doing the heavy lifting at home. I write with them in mind. My articles help adult children navigate tough conversations, understand chronic conditions, and support their aging parents without losing themselves in the process. Clear, compassionate, and actually useful.
CPR- Not the kind you're used to. This CPR brings your AI-generated or freelance content to life with a final stamp of approval from a real RN. I check for tone, clarity, empathy, and clinical accuaracy, so your article, app, or web copy actually hits right with the people who matter. Just think of me as your AI Fixer!
I speak nurse. Whether you’re marketing to frontline staff, clinical leaders, or healthcare organizations, I write content that respects their time and their expertise. From product explainers to thought leadership, I help you connect with professionals in a way that feels clear, credible, and genuinely useful.
